Madison + Jason Schwind
Jason and Madison have always been incredibly passionate about living a healthy lifestyle while being good to the planet. Yoga has always been part of their daily lives and they have decided to dive deeper into their practice by receiving their 200hr teacher training certification. As a couple, parents, and business owners they felt there was something missing and decided to birth Meraki Ways as an all-inclusive community for likeminded individuals.
Throughout the years, they have taken steps to reduce their footprint and hope to share tips with others through gardening, composting, and up-cycling. They have also explored alternative diets and have become vegan and gluten free (Madison has Celiac Disease). They are constantly on the go but have found great ways to eat healthy and sustainably meal plan and prep to reduce food waste and minimize impact.
In their spare time, they enjoy excursions into nature, soccer, biking, surfing, snowboarding, and taking walks with their tiny humans and pups.

Hi, name is Lynnea. I am the founder and creative behind DarcMoon. Along my journey, Mala beads found me. First I fell in love with the care and craftsmanship then i was hooked by the relationships that were created through the beads. The purpose behind DarcMoon is beyond jewelry. It is to create a long term sustainable company, establish lasting relationships and enable other creatives to pursue their passions. At Meraki Ways retreat, you have the opportunity to add on a Mala making session (necklace or bracelet), natal chat reading, or I will make a custom Mala for you. Please contact me personally at firstname.lastname@example.org for more information.
At Sunset Surf, we love that we can share our love of surfing and Costa Rica with Meraki Ways. We are a family business and love to teach people no matter what age or skill level. The moment you meet our staff, you immediately feel at home and by the time you leave you will have the confidence that no wave is too much for you to tackle. Owner Dylan Parks love of surfing and Costa Rica will have you wanting more.
The Flight of the Toucan zip line tour is a rainforest experience and a canopy adventure. Groups see wildlife and birds such as monkeys, sloths, and toucans, especially on the ecological hike from the secondary rainforest to the primary rainforest. A great way to see and learn about the tropical rainforest and have fun at the same time. Flight of the Toucan, imitates the flight of the toucan, as it leaps off a branch, swoops down through the forest and then up into another tree. On this tour, 8 separate cable rides take you from one ridge top to another, across valleys and streams.
All packages are additional costs. We can help you plan and engage in all aspects of your trip. Contact us today for more info!
